NARS could have called it Commemoration, considering that's how wearing information technology makes me feel — like I've but slipped on a pair of old jeans and plant them a niggling loose (in other words, YAY!).
NARS has a knack for super wearable, middle-catching reds (Dolce Vita springs to mind), and for me, Joyus Red was love at kickoff swipe. Warm, with gilt orange undertones and a semi-matte end, it even has microscopic flecks of golden glitter.
Just gorgeous, and I can't wait to come across it sing on gals with warm pare tones.
The lightweight, unscented and unflavored formula has a semi-matte finish that may exist slightly drying, specially if you already have dry lips, so you might try prepping your lips first with a layer of moisturizing lotion beforehand. As for wear fourth dimension, it clocks in at about 4-five hours on me (stays on similar a MOFO!).
I'm wearing a single layer for these pics, which I feel is my sweet spot with Joyous Reddish, but you could always add a red lip liner or a gloss to punch it up a trivial (try Albatross, the ane that comes with this release). Or, for a sexy, "Hi, I'thousand ScarJo and I only rolled out of bed" pout, just dab a chip lightly on your lips.
